The findings presented in this report  indicate a significant escalation in the use of drone strikes during February 2026, with documented impacts extending beyond military objectives to affect civilians and civilian infrastructure across multiple Sudanese states. The evidence reviewed by the Youth Citizens Observers Network – Sudan (YCON) indicates that drone strikes have contributed to worsening humanitarian vulnerabilities, particularly among internally displaced populations and communities already experiencing limited access to essential services.
