The war is still continuing in Sudan and its implications continue to affect all aspects of life in the country. Human rights violations continue, especially in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces, and army air strikes are terrorizing citizens in many areas. Moreover, the conditions of Sudanese refugees in the Comer and Olala camps in Ethiopia are getting worse. They are suffering from lack of services and security, and are exposed to repeated violations and attacks by local militias.
Below is a report compiled by YCON relying on primary and secondary data gathered by its local observers distributed across all states of Sudan. It reflects on the social, economic and political implications of war, in addition to the asylum and displacement movements, and the conditions of the displaced and refugees in camps, in the period from the beginning of May 2024 to May 26, 2024, as well as our recommendations - we, the youth - to help resolve the Sudanese crisis.
